We are ambassadors for Christ; certain that
God is appealing through us, we plead on
Christ’s behalf: “Be reconciled to God.”

No matter how different the rest of our challenges may be, every believer can count on a multitude of challenges to forgive.
Remember, God’s primary agenda in the life of the believer is to conform the child into the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ. And no other word sums up His character in relationship to us like the word forgiving. We never look more like Him than when we forgive. And since this is God’s goal for us, we’re destined for plenty of opportunities! As ambassadors of Christ in this generation, we have been called to the ministry of forgiveness.
