What to Expect When You Visit

Welcome!

We want you to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of our church. Whether you are just visiting in Hudson, or searching for a community that will embrace you as you are. We want you to feel welcome. You will be greeted warmly by several members (including greeters, our pastors, regular folks). We’ll invite you to grab a warm cup of coffee and to make yourself at home.

Directions

We are located in the historic area of Hudson, WI near the scenic St. Croix river.

Parking

Cornerstone Church is nestled into the historic area of Hudson, on street parking is readily available with designated parking for individuals with disabilities.

Children

Cornerstone offers a variety of programs for families with children. Greeters will lead you to our King’s Kids classroom area and introduce you to our gifted teachers. A nursery with a live feed from the sanctuary is available if your little one becomes antsy.

Building

Our building is an updated turn of the century traditional structure complete with stained glass windows. A total renovation produced a fully accessible facility that is bright and modern while retaining many of its traditional features.

People

We’re a vibrant, friendly, small congregation that loves being together. So you’ll probably walk in on us chatting and enjoying each other’s company, sipping coffee and listening to music. Join in!

Service

A typical worship service at Cornerstone lasts for about an hour and consists of – singing, prayer, practical Biblical teaching and a closing prayer. Complimentary refreshments are served in the lobby immediately following.

What to wear

Come as you are! Cornerstone is a diverse congregation. You will see everything from business attire to grunge. All are welcome. We’re not the fashion police, we gather to worship God.

FAQ

Many people will arrive 10-15 minutes early to enjoy a cup of coffee and meet new friends. The sanctuary is available for prayer before and after every service.

A typical service will last about an hour.

Sunday morning classes are available for ages 3-12. On Wednesday evening from 7:30-8:30 kids age 3-9 attend Children’s Bible Hour. Skits, choirs and special programs occur throughout the year with an emphasis on Christmas and Easter.

Our music is upbeat, contemporary and Christ focused. Keyboard, Guitar and percussion accompany anointed voices as lyrics and choruses are projected for the congregation to follow.

NO! We make offering envelopes available IF you would like to give, but no offering will be taken during the service.

Definitely. Several people will introduce themselves to you – we’re a friendly group.

We would like you to complete a visitor card. Our vision is to cultivate an environment where people can encounter God. Your feedback will assist us in fulfilling our vision.

We are a small, enthusiastic and growing congregation. Our sanctuary has seating for around 100 people.

In a word – Dynamic. People from a variety of religious backgrounds attend Cornerstone to pursue a relationship with God. Lutherans, Catholics, Baptists, Pentecostals and people without any denominational background worship together in diversity and unity. Some people are contemplative, others more demonstrative. We don’t place an emphasis on style, we’re concerned with who we worship – Jesus.
